Another Lions Club tradition has come, with great success. Lions Mike, Ben, the Jim Coleman’s and Leo (Lion Rebeka) “rang the bell” for those less-fortunate, at Sam’s Club in McKinney! The entire club pitched in, in shifts, to collect much-needed funds for the Salvation Army. Thanks to all.

McKinney Lion Mike, Lion Dan and Lion Nicole presented McKinney ISD and MacTown Miracles with a $770 check today. MacTown Miracles is a combination food drive sponsored by McKinney Boyd, McKinney High and McKinney North high schools Student Council. The 2020 goal is to provide a complete turkey meal

We were privileged to have Edie Heinicke, present to the group at our weekly meeting (12/2/20) and describe her role as Executive Director of “Volunteer McKinney.” Her group represents over 100 non-profits in the city and tailors donations (in time, talent and money) to groups with immediate needs.

The McKinney Lions Club was so pleased to participate in the city’s “reverse parade” where the floats were parked and the parade-goers drove around the downtown square to view the entries.
