McKinney Noon Lions – June 6th Meeting
Mission Regan Executive Director, Josh Willis was the featured speaker at our June 6, 2018 meeting. Mission Regan collects surplus or expired (yet viable) medical supplies and equipment. Through partnerships, direct shipments and personal deliveries, the unused, sterile supplies are given to hospitals, clinics, orphanages and individuals in need. The

At the March 28th meeting of the McKinney Noon Lions, Trish Wilson, Director of Marketing & Public Relations for the Texas Lions Camp presented information about this year’s Lions Camp. Texas Lions Camp is a summer camping facility dedicated to serving children from the State of Texas with physical disabilities,
McKinney Noon Lions – March 14th Meeting
President George Matson inducted two new members, Phil Huff and Martyn Lucas, into the club. Caitlin Twyman, Executive Director of Hope Clinic gave an inspiring talk about the free clinic and their mission. At the February 7th meeting, held at the Collin County History Museum, WWII Veteran Chester (Chet) Rohm gave a presentation about the Battle of Bulge in which he participated. At the February 21st meeting, Lion Zoe Collier’s husband Ed gave a very interesting and informative presentation on Bit Coin
McKinney Noon Lions Meeting – January
Sara Schuster, our entrant into the Diabetic Essay contest, presented her essay. Amy Rosenthal, Director of McKinney Mainstreet, provided an update on events and attractions to be held during 2018 as well as a brief history of Downtown McKinney and the Performing Arts Center.
McKinney Noon Lions Meeting – October 18th
George Matson, our current president presenting a plaque to our former president Ben Pignataro Guide Dogs for the Blind gave a presentation about their work in the training of puppies some of whom eventually become guide dogs for the blind.
McKinney Fusion Choir from Boyd High School
At the September 20th meeting of the McKinney Noon Lions, members and guests were treated to a performance by the McKinney Boyd High School Fusion Choir.
